For the past few days, I noticed a couple of green worms in my tomato plants. They had white rice like bags hanging from them which is how I even noticed them.
After doing some research online, I found out that they were tomato hornworms and that they were attracted to tomato plants. While researching how to get rid of them, all of the places I read suggested that I should leave them alone since they had already been attached by the parasites which killed them - these were the white sacks that were hanging from them.
I left them as they are and harvested 5 of the tomatos which were red.
I hope I didn't do anything wrong and the tomatos are ok to eat. We already used a couple of them in cooking.
